The batteries of my Philips Avent Baby monitor die quickly

Published on 2019-01-24

Do the non-rechargeable batteries in the parent unit of your Philips Avent Baby monitor die quickly? Use these tips to improve the battery life.

Connect the baby unit of your Philips Avent Baby monitor to the wall socket, using the power adapter. This way, the non-rechargeable batteries in the parent unit are used as a back-up during a power outage.

Use these tips to improve the battery life of your non-rechargeable batteries, in case you have to use them. To improve battery life:

  1. Decrease the parent unit's microphone sensitivity to reduce redundant sound transmissions
  2. Lower the sound level when using the lullaby feature to save energy.
  3. Only use the nightlight when your baby unit is connected to the wall socket.
