How do I charge my Philips shaver and how do I know when it’s fully charged?

Charging instructions differ between Philips shaver models. Before charging, check the user manual for your shaver’s recommended cable, adapter or charging stand, and the expected charging time. A charger that works with one Philips shaver may not be suitable for another.

To charge your shaver:

  1. Switch off the shaver.
  2. Connect it using the charging cable and power source specified for your model.
  3. Check the charging light or display to monitor its progress.

The indicator can look different depending on the model. It may flash while charging, show battery bars filling up, or change when charging is complete. On some models, the light turns off after a short time to save energy, even though the shaver is fully charged. Check your manual to learn what the indicator means for your shaver.

How long does charging take?
Use the time stated in your model’s manual or product specifications. If your shaver charges by USB, using an adapter that doesn’t meet the requirements for your model may make charging take longer.

What adapter should I use?
Use the adapter supplied with or recommended for your shaver. If the shaver came with a USB cable but no adapter, check the manual for the required adapter specifications before choosing one. Keep the cable and power source dry while charging. Don’t use a damaged cable or adapter.
